VDOT News - Northern Virginia

FAIRFAX – Colchester Road (Route 612) between Popes Head Road (Route 654) and Braddock Road (Route 620) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, Monday, June 12 through Wednesday, June 14 between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day for stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Those needing to reach properties along Colchester Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement (between White Drive and Rochester Drive) in either direction.

Through traffic will be detoured via Popes Head Road, Clifton Road (Route 645) and Braddock Road back to Colchester Road. Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.
