HERNDON – Bennett Road (Route 669) between Fox Mill Road (Route 665) and Leefield Drive (Route 5360) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, Monday, August 28 through Thursday, August 31 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day for stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Those needing to reach properties along Bennett Road will have access; however, traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement (near 2990 Bennett Road, located near the Fox Mill Road intersection) in either direction.

Through traffic will be detoured via Bennett Road, West Ox Road (Route 608), Vale Rd (Route 672) and Fox Mill Road back to Bennett Road. Drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs.
