Town Center Parkway Study Virtual Meeting April 7
Participate, learn more and give feedback at virginiadot.org/TownCenterParkway

RESTON – The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a virtual public information meeting Wednesday, April 7 on a study assessing an extension of Town Center Parkway to reduce congestion on adjacent roads, and improve accessibility and connectivity to Reston Town Center for drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians.

The study team is analyzing a half-mile extension from the Parkway’s current southern terminus at Sunset Hills Road to Sunrise Valley Drive, with the new road aligning west of the CoreSite building on Sunrise Valley Drive, under the Dulles Toll Road (Route 267), the Dulles International Airport Access Highway and the Metrorail Silver Line.

The study is expected to be complete this summer. It will not set construction dates for any improvements, but is developing proposed improvements that Fairfax County can pursue for funding.
