UPDATE (8/20): This work has been rescheduled and will occur on Thursday, August 20, and Friday, August 21, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily with crews flagging traffic through the work zone.

FAIRFAX -- Braddock Road will be closed between Newton Patent Drive and Route 28 from Friday night, August 14, through early Monday morning, August 17, for paving operations. Detours will be posted using Westfields Boulevard.

Friday, August 14, through Monday, August 17
Braddock Road Between Newton Patent Drive and Route 28 

• From 10 p.m. Friday, August 14, through 5 a.m. Monday, August 17, Braddock Road will be closed between Newton Patent Drive and Route 28.  
• Route 28 southbound traffic will not be able to turn right onto Braddock Road. Drivers will be directed prior to the closure to take Westfields Boulevard westbound to reach Braddock Road. 
• Braddock Road traffic will not be able to turn onto Route 28 South. Drivers will be detoured to Westfields Boulevard eastbound to reach Route 28 South. 

All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
