ROUTE 3 EASTBOUND CLOSED IN KING GEORGE
Both eastbound lanes closed near LaGrange Lane for vehicle crash with downed utility pole; Motorists should follow posted detour route

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Route 3 eastbound in King George County is closed near LaGrange Lane due to a vehicle crash involving a downed utility pole.

Route 3 eastbound is estimated to remain closed through midday. LaGrange Lane is located east of the Sealston area, and west of Port Conway Road.

Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews are on scene to assist with traffic control. Route 3 eastbound traffic is being detoured on the following route:

  • Route 605 (Bloomsbury Road)
  • Route 218 (Caledon Road)
  • Route 609 (Comorn Road)
